Dubai Conference Indian Tourism Congress (ITC)

As per the past practice this year also with the kind support and blessings of all the members, Indian Tourism Congress is going to host its Second International Conference in Dubai.

You might have sent your abstract after receiving the first announcement of the Second International Conference. In fact since last few days we were working hard for finalizing the best deal to visit Dubai. After a lot of discussions and negotiations we have landed on the best deal. I hope you all would enjoy the visit and this conference would be beneficial for the entire tourism academia. The details of the conference ( tour details) are following.


Dubai – Delhi(03 NTS / 04 DAYS)

ITINERARY

10 Sept Departure Delhi – Dubai (Fri) Departure IGI Apt New Delhi for Dubai (via Muscat) by WY-244 (Oman Air) at 1610 hrs. Arrive Muscat at 1750 hrs and connect with flight to Dubai by WY-611 at 2030 hrs. Arrive Dubai Int’l Airport at 2140 hrs and transfer to Hotel Rush Inn. Overnight at Hotel.

11 Sept Dubai Conference / City Tour (Sat) After breakfast at the Hotel transfer to the nearby Imperial Suites Hotel for first ½ day Conference Inauguration followed by morning session. After lunch at the Imperial Suites we proceed on an afternoon City Tour of New and Old Dubai.

Dubai City Tour – The group departs for a tour of Dubai. Experience the Traditional, Modern and Futuristic Dubai! We start the tour with a brief photo stop at the stunning Burj Al Arab. This magnificent all-suite hotel rises spectacularly out of the Azure blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. Standing 321mtrs high, the hotel is designed to resemble a billowing sail.
Dubai has undertaken a host of new projects aimed at developing the destination and improving the lifestyle of the city. We take the guests on a drive past all the new projects and developments in the destination such as the Dubai Marina. Jumeirah Beach Residence and Palm Jumeirah.
After the drive we head into the city of Dubai directly to the creek from where we start a tour of Traditional Dubai. We drive past the Creek and the oldest part of the city, Bastakiya – the old wind tower houses with their splendid architecture. Our tour rounds off with a stop at the brilliantly illuminated “Gold Souk” where more than 200 gold shops display dazzling jewelery varying from traditional to the latest designs at amazingly affordable prices.
Evening option to enjoy the fabulous Dhow Cruise along the Dubai Creek with Dinner. Return and overnight at the Hotel.

12 Sept Dubai Conference (Sun) After breakfast at the Hotel transfer to the nearby Imperial Suites Hotel for second ½ day Conference session. After lunch at the Imperial Suites we return to the Hotel. Optional Desert Safari followed by Dinner and Belly Dancing. Return and overnight at the Hotel.

13 Sept Departure Dubai (Mon) After breakfast at the Hotel day free at leisure to visit “Gold Souk” and other shopping Malls for last day shopping. Evening transfer to Dubai Int’l airport for return flight to New Delhi by WY-612 at 2230 hrs. Arrive Muscat at 2335 hrs and connect for flight to New Delhi by WY-241 at 0120 hrs (14 Sept). Arrive IGI Int’l Airport New Delhi at 0550 hrs.Tour Ends


OPTIONAL ATTRACTIONS

Dhow Cruise Dinner – 1930 Hrs
Dhow cruise is an exciting cultural and dining evening tour in Dubai. The Dhow cruise is intertwined with a small sightseeing which makes it a memorable tour for Dubai. As the cruise sails along the Dubai creek, the guests can see the major Dubai landmarks as well as the past and present architecture of the area, which is brought to its full beauty during this time. This unforgettable evening cruise includes a buffet dinner with a variety of dishes either continental or oriental cuisine and vegetarian and non-vegetarian, along with soft drinks and traditional coffee. Desert Safari with Barbecue Dinner and Belly Dance – 1530 Hrs No visit would be complete without a trip into the desert. The Desert Challenge offers a taste of the true heartland of Arabia. Experience the magnificence and harmony of the desert in our comfortable 4WD vehicles. Late afternoon the group will arrive at the edge of the desert to enjoy some exciting “Dune Bashing”. Dune bashing is literally bashing the dunes with the thrill of going up and down them, which provokes shrieks of laughter and is full of excitement. Feel the silence of the Desert while watching the stunning vista of endless dunes & the magical desert sunset. At dusk, flame torches will be lit creating a surreal ambience.
